Gritty

Here, we delve into the darkest, dankest depths of a person’s psyche… especially in the case of the character “Shithead”. His was a world of utter inhuman misery, a world devoid of the simplest luxury, and he was demonically compensated with debauchery, depression, anxiety, and the sad desire to exit this otherwise paradisal planet.

We explore, or at least touch upon, sensitivities we would normally shy away from.  But because this is a fictional character - one who may embody aspects of real lives - we are able to see the scars, confront them, and perhaps, thankfully, anticipate some sense of healing.

We must all face our most painful moments, so that we may continue, to grow, to live, to be.

Passionate

Some of our stories relate to a need to evoke change - not merely on a personal level but explosively, as a universal and global enterprise.

Blade wanted to stop the fighting. Unite the gangs. Form a coalition, perhaps even a political entity. He wanted to cease hostilities within the villainous structure of gang life and protect the lives of others.  Sometimes one experiences a selfless need to do good, even while drowning in a sea of bad.

These are the characters, the legends, the new guard. Driven heroes are not made - they are born, and they are nurtured.

Our experiences help shape our personalities. We may not end this life as the people we once were, but generally, hopefully, it is for the better… for the betterment of those around us, and the positive furtherance of humanity.

Be passionate, be strong, tread on the cracks in the pavement if you must, but do not stamp upon the lives of others.  Even ants have the right to live.

Thought Provoking

Here we witness the mad - and the murderer.

Some souls we condemn to hell, and others we save, at great cost to ourselves.

Lydia murdered the man she loved… but she will learn to love again. Is that fair? Is that even right? Does mental cruelty justify vengeance that extinguishes another life?

Princess acted in self-defence. Her “crime” was being pretty, and she paid a heavy price. If we could strip away anger and greed from the dark motivations of human beings, would we still need prisons?

Falling into prison is all too easy. But what dark secrets would you confess… to get out?
