Laurent C Lucas

Laurent C Lucas is a French actor and first started acting in his native France, at school, kids' clubs and through theatre workshops. He tried his luck at l’École du Passage, Neil’s Arelstrup acting school in his early 20’s without success. Life took over and he had to concentrate on developing a career in electronics and provide for his family. But the bug was still there and after moving to the UK in the early 2000’s, he joined a local amateur dramatics society and performed on stage in plays and Pantos, and then into short films through developing a network of local actors and filmmakers as well as working with students at both Bournemouth University and AUB. This eventually allowed him to build a showreel, book his first paid job and find an agent.

Moving a few years forward, and with numerous TV and film credits to his name(Poldark, Sex Education, FBI: International and The Crown to name but a few), he decided it was time to train properly and enrolled at Guildford School of Acting where he graduated with Master’s degree in Acting.

He is currently portraying Muslim Elder Ibrahim in DIE BEFORE YOU DIE (Cinema) and French President Jacques Chirac in S6 of THE CROWN (Netflix). He is a Baritone singer with a 2 octave range.
